I never planned for this to become a baby clothing blog, and I don’t *think* it has, but I can’t stop making absurdly cute outfits. Pinafores have had a bit of a resurgence thanks to The Queen’s Gambit. These definitely aren’t Queen’s Gambit pinafores β more like baby Dorothy pinafores. I’m very into it.

See? Wizard of Oz chic. This is another pattern by Oh Me Oh My Sewing. Pretty much any baby outfit that makes it onto the blog is by Oh Me Oh My. I’ve probably said it before, but their patterns are incredibly easy to follow and they offer a huge selection.

This one is made from an old Laura Ashley sheet. It’s a bit circus-like, which I totally love. It’s something only a baby whose mom forces her to wear questionable outfits could pull off.

This was a very quick make since there are no fastenings β just an elastic at the back. I had to resist cutting a third version (I have a crazy alpaca print fabric waiting for a project like this). Two are more than enough, and my daughter might not even fit into them by the time summer gets here. Also, we spend all our time inside and wear pyjamas all day *sigh*. Here’s to brighter days ahead.
Happy sewing!
